It is rumoured that a unicorn exists near Ur. It is not a rumour that there are plenty of (venomous) snakes around.

Giant Hamsters. The gnomish cavalry are called the Hamster masters.

Golden eagles (Steenarenden): among these are also some mythical ones, which are good, but sometimes in a negative way.
